In a landmark achievement for the WE Africa project, Fayoum University recently graduated its first cohort of students from the intensive Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses in membrane technology. Over 50 local students received hands-on training in advanced water purification techniques using membranes. This initiative not only equipped students with essential skills but also enhanced their employability, with 85% of graduates securing internships or jobs within months of completion. Local industries expressed their excitement about having access to well-trained professionals who can help drive innovation and efficiency in water management.
